Privacy policy
How your information is handled.
This policy applies to musicmammoth.com, operated by Music Mammoth Studio. It covers what's collected on this site and what happens to it. Studio conduct and attendance terms are covered separately in Studio Policies. Last updated September 2026.
What we collect
The contact form asks for your name, email address, lesson interest, and message. It's a Google Form, so whatever you enter is sent to and stored in the studio's Google account. That information is only collected if you choose to submit it - there's no tracking of visitors who just browse the site.
How it's used
Contact form responses are used only to reply to your inquiry and arrange lessons. Google stores and processes them on the studio's behalf as the form provider. Your information is never sold, and it isn't shared with anyone else for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
The contact form is a Google Form. Anything you submit through it is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy, and the responses are stored in the studio's Google account.
Video on this site (a few entries on the About page) is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, which limits tracking until a video is actually played. Once played, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
Lesson payments are handled directly by PayPal. The subscribe buttons on the Pricing page are loaded from PayPal, and PayPal's privacy policy governs any information you provide during checkout.
This site is hosted on Netlify, which logs standard technical information (like IP address and browser type) as part of normal web hosting and security.
Cookies
This site doesn't run analytics or advertising cookies of its own. Some embedded third-party content loads with the page and may set its own cookies before you interact with it: the Google Form on the Contact page, and the PayPal subscribe buttons on the Pricing page. YouTube videos are click-to-play and set nothing until you start one.
To decide whether to show the cookie notice banner, the site makes a one-time lookup of your approximate country from your IP address via a third-party geolocation service. No cookie is set for this and nothing is stored beyond a local note in your browser that you've seen the banner.
Children's privacy
Lessons are offered to students as young as five. For students under 18, the contact form and any enrollment details should be submitted by a parent or guardian - we don't knowingly collect information directly from a child.
Your choices
Email any time to ask what information is on file, request a correction, or have it deleted. Contact information is kept only as long as it's needed to respond to you or manage an active enrollment.
Changes to this policy
This page may be updated as the site or its offerings change. The date at the top always reflects the most recent version.
